Serving as the organization's cornerstone program, the Ronald McDonald House of Iowa City provides a temporary home for families while their child is being treated or hospitalized at area hospitals & clinics.

Scholarship Program
The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern Iowa (RMHC – EI) Scholarship Program provides scholarships to graduating seniors from Eastern Iowa intent on continuing their education after high school.
Only students residing in Benton, Bremer, Black Hawk, Buchanan, Cedar, Chickasaw, Clinton, Dubuque, Fayette, Franklin, Grant (WI), Iowa, Jackson, Johnson, Jones, Linn & Washington counties are eligible for the RMHC - EI Scholarship Program.
Graduating high school seniors may apply for only one of the four scholarships. The four types of scholarship available include: RMHC®/Scholars, RMHC®/Asia, RMHC®/African-American Future Achievers, and RMHC®/HACER®.
The deadline to apply for the 2011-12 academic year has passed. The application will soon be available for the 2012-13 academic year.

Grant Program
The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern Iowa Grants Program aims to make an impact on children’s lives by awarding grants to qualified non-profit organizations whose programs improve the quality of life for children and their families in Eastern Iowa.
Grants requests are considered for non-profit organizations within the 16 county area represented by McDonald’s Restaurant Owner/Operators in Eastern Iowa. These counties include Benton, Black Hawk, Bremer, Buchanan, Cedar, Chickasaw, Clinton, Dubuque, Fayette, Grant (WI), Iowa, Jackson, Johnson, Jones, Linn & Washington.
The deadline to apply for a 2012 grant has now passed.
